Attendance And Abscence

As regular attendance is an important requirement for successful results, a written application for leave must be submitted well in advance. In case of illness and other unforeseen circumstances, the guardian should inform
the Principal in writing as soon as possible.



1. A minimum attendance of 80% of the total working days is required during the academic year, falling short of which the student will not be allowed to take the examination that year (rules of 85% attendance is strictly applicable especially for classes IX to XII). However it is advisable that a student should have 100% attendance for good performance.

2. School fees has to be paid in advance by the 15th of every month (or by the 14th if 15th is a holiday or Sunday) onl after payment of fees in advance a child can be allowed to attend the classes in any month.

4. Every student must be present on the reopening day after each vacation.

5. It is advisable to ensure that a student is not disturbed during examination days and is not asked to attend social functions.

6. No student can leave the school premises during school hours without the written permission of the Vice-Principal, which may be granted under exceptional circumstances, based on the written request of parents.

7. The Principal has the right to suspend or to rusticate an indiscipline student. The Principal may also ask parents/guardians to withdraw their child from the school if his/her conduct or educational progress is not


8. All entries of absence, late-coming or half-day leave should be written or mentioned in the school diary
